Permitted Fayetteville food trucks may work a spot for up to 12 hours, then must move out of view. They can use marked parallel parking spaces not in front of a business selling similar food, or private property zoned for food sales.
Under UDC Β§178.04(E), permitted food trucks and trailers may operate in one location up to twelve hours per day, then must relocate out of view of the original spot. Allowed locations include marked parallel parking spaces that are not reserved for residential use and not in front of a business selling similar food, with service only on the sidewalk side; marked park spaces under City Code Β§97.086; and private property zoned for food and beverage sales with the owner's permission, where the 12-hour cap can be waived. Trucks may also serve designated Downtown Square events like the Farmers' Market and Lights of the Ozarks.
Vending outside allowed locations, blocking traffic, or exceeding the 12-hour limit violates Β§178.04; the Planning Division may revoke the permit, with fines up to $500 under Β§10.99.
