Weber County's rule is short but binding: garage and yard sales of personal used items from a single-family dwelling may not be held more than once every three months. The provision sits in Chapter 108-7, Supplementary and Qualifying Regulations, and applies only within the county's unincorporated area, since Utah county land-use authority does not extend into incorporated cities like Ogden, Roy, or North Ogden, which set their own sale rules. The three-month cap runs per dwelling: a homeowner who held a sale in January cannot legally hold a second one until April at the earliest.

The section limits sales to personal used items, so it does not authorize a household to run a recurring resale or flea-market operation out of a single-family home; that kind of repeated commercial activity would instead need a home occupation or business license review under other chapters of the Land Use Code. Weber County adopted the section by Ordinance 2011-17 on October 11, 2011, and it has not been amended since, unlike many surrounding sections in Chapter 108-7 that carry 2020s history notes.
