Sedona does not impose a stand-alone garage-sale permit, but garage sale activity must respect noise ordinances (Ch. 8.25), parking rules (Ch. 10.20), and sign restrictions (LDC Art. 6).
Activity must end by 9:00 p.m. to avoid violating Β§8.25.060 quiet-hour rules in residential areas. Off-premises directional signs are allowed under the LDC garage-sale wayfinding exception, but cannot be placed on utility poles, signals, or medians. Customer parking should not block driveways, sight lines, or sidewalks. Frequent or large-scale garage sales may be treated as a home occupation under Β§3.4.D and require business licensing.
Noise, signage, and parking citations as applicable.
