Under Fla. Stat. §559.955 employees who work at the home must live there, except that up to two workers or independent contractors from outside may also work at the business. The Act protects client visits so long as the business stays secondary to residential use and the property, viewed from the street, still looks like its neighbors. Okaloosa County may not single out a home business, but its generally applicable rules on on-street parking, traffic, and noise still bind the property.
