Under LDC Section 530.21.C.3, no exterior signs and no signs that would be visible from the street or neighboring dwellings that are associated with the home occupation are permitted; only professional signs that are statutorily required are allowed. This is reinforced by Section 530.21.C.2, which requires that there be no change in the outside appearance of the building or premises as a result of the business. Florida Statute 559.955(3)(c) similarly requires that, as viewed from the street, the use of the residential property remain consistent with surrounding residential areas, and the statute leaves signage subject to applicable local and state regulations.
