Full Breakdown
Clark County Code has no section written for car alarms. A vehicle alarm that goes off and disturbs neighbors falls under Section 14.55.020, which bans any noise near a residence or dwelling that is physically annoying to persons of ordinary sensitivity or so harsh, prolonged, or unnatural as to cause physical discomfort. This applies only in unincorporated Clark County, including the Strip resort corridor in Paradise and Winchester townships. Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and Mesquite enforce their own municipal codes.
Violations & Fines
Violating Chapter 14.55 is a misdemeanor: up to 6 months in county jail, a fine up to $300, or both.
