Toledo Executive Airport in Lake Township on the east side serves general aviation. Noise complaints about aircraft operations go to the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority airport noise line and ultimately to the FAA regional office. Helicopter operations by ProMedica air medical and WGTE news, and Ohio Air National Guard operations from the 180th Fighter Wing at Toledo Express, are likewise FAA-regulated. Ground operations at airports, including engine run-ups outside designated pens, can be regulated locally but rarely are in Toledo.
