Inside multifamily buildings the caps are 50 dBA or 55 dBC by day and 45 dBA or 50 dBC at night. An officer may instead use Table 2 at the emitting property line: 75 dBA day, 72 dBA night. Readings use a Type 2 meter on slow response.
