Orange County Code defines abandoned vehicle as inoperable, unregistered, or left unattended on public property over 48 hours. Code Enforcement issues notice to remove within 10 days. Non-compliance: county tows at owner expense, 150-300 dollar tow plus storage 30 dollars per day. Vehicles on private property must be in operating condition or stored in enclosed structure. FL 705.103 governs abandoned vehicle disposal by law enforcement.
Notice of violation: 10 days to correct. Failure to remove: 100 dollars per day plus tow costs. Lien on property possible for unpaid fines.
