Seminole County, FL Parking Rules: Commercial & Oversized Vehicles (2026)

Sec. 75 caps residential-zone truck parking at Federal Highway Administration Class 1 through Class 3 vehicles meeting the 14,000-pound gross vehicle weight rating limit. A heavier truck may stop only long enough to load or unload merchandise; it cannot be stored or parked there otherwise. Separately, any truck of any size running a motorized cooling unit is prohibited from parking in a residentially zoned area at all, since idling reefer units generate the noise and exhaust the rule targets. 01(b), Florida Statutes, so a homeowner's own pickup or RV is not swept up by the weight or classification limits.
