Collier County Code Section 130-97 makes it unlawful to park a commercial vehicle or commercial equipment on any lot in a Residential District, unless it is actively working on site, garaged or screened, or concealed in the rear. Light trucks up to one ton are exempt.
Under Collier County Code Section 130-97, parking a commercial vehicle or commercial equipment on a residentially zoned lot is prohibited unless one exception applies: the vehicle is actively engaged in a construction or service operation on that site (and removed when finished); it is parked in a garage, fully enclosed structure, or screened carport that cannot be seen from adjacent property or the street; or it is parked in the rear of the main structure within vegetative screening that conceals it from neighbors. Automobiles, passenger vans, and pickup trucks of one ton or less that do not exceed 7.5 feet high, 7.0 feet wide, or 25 feet long are exempt, unless a special parking overlay district under LDC 2.03.07M provides
