Under the Louisville Metro LDC, Heavy Trucks β vehicles with more than one rear axle or utility trailers exceeding 16 feet β face strict restrictions in residential zoning districts and traditional neighborhood form districts throughout Jefferson County. Up to two medium trucks (lighter commercial vehicles per dwelling unit) are permitted on lots 20,000+ sq ft, but not in the front yard or along street-facing sides.
