Alpine County has no standalone code chapter restricting where commercial trucks may park on private property; that is a zoning matter under Title 18. On county roads, the only specific commercial-vehicle parking rules are the Bear Valley loading and delivery provisions in the winter snow ordinance.
There is no general Alpine County ordinance setting hours or weight limits for parking commercial vehicles on residential streets countywide. Off-street commercial-vehicle storage is regulated through Title 18 (Zoning), which controls what uses each district allows, rather than a dedicated parking chapter. The only place the county code specifically addresses commercial vehicles in the public right-of-way is the Bear Valley winter ordinance. Chapter 10.12.050(C)(11) reserves a sixty-foot curb segment along the south side of No Name Road, west of the east entrance to the Bear Valley Commercial Area, for the loading and unloading of commercial vehicles serving area businesses during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and prohibits other vehicles from parking or standing there during that time. Subsection (C)(12) further bars any vehicle from blocking the east entrance to the commercial area, which must stay clear for emergency access. Elsewhere on county and state roads, commercial-vehicle parking, height, and length follow the California Vehicle Code; under CVC 22507 local authorities may by ordinance restrict parking of vehicles six feet or more in height near intersections, but Alpine County's only such restrictions are the Bear Valley provisions above. Violating the Bear Valley commercial loading-zone provisions is an infraction under Chapter 10.12.080 ($50/$100/$150 escalating within 12 months). General commercial-vehicle parking violations on roads are enforced under the California Vehicle Code via the contracted parking agent.
