Restricted vehicles (RVs, boats) may sit on a paved front-yard driveway only in A, A-1, or RSF-1 districts; commercial vehicles must be off-street in a driveway, carport, or garage; inoperable vehicles are never allowed in open driveways (Code 2-9-108).
Manatee County's Code 2-9-108 sets driveway standards for residential lots. RVs and boats may be parked on a paved front-yard driveway only if the property is in the general agricultural (A), agricultural suburban (A-1), or one-unit-per-acre residential single-family (RSF-1) district, or briefly for a trip (no more than three days, twice per 30-day period). Residents' two allowed commercial vehicles must be parked off-street in a garage, carport, or driveway. Restricted vehicles can't block or occupy any utility/drainage easement, visibility triangle, right-of-way, fire lane, walkway, or drive aisle. A disabled resident's needed restricted vehicle may stay in the driveway with a displayed disabled permit.
Code enforcement under Ch. 162, F.S. and county Code chapter 2-7; each day a separate offense (Sec. 2-9-109).
