26(F)(5), part of the Site Plan Design Standards that apply to non-residential development in the unincorporated county. Any use with 6,000 square feet or more of gross floor area that requires deliveries or shipments must provide off-street loading facilities sized at a minimum of 250 square feet per berth, not counting the maneuvering area. The code requires that maneuvering space be kept outside the road right-of-way wherever possible, and flatly bars any part of a truck or van from extending into a public thoroughfare or right-of-way while loading or unloading.

All off-street loading facilities must be paved. The number of berths required scales with building size: commercial and industrial uses need one berth at 6,000 to 24,999 square feet, two berths from 25,000 to 74,999 square feet, and three berths from 75,000 to 125,000 square feet, with one more berth for every additional 50,000 square feet. Public assembly uses follow a separate, more lenient schedule keyed to 100,000-square-foot increments. The Zoning Administrator can waive or reduce the berth count if the applicant shows the business won't need vehicles larger than standard postal or parcel-delivery trucks, or if the site plan reserves space that a future occupant could retrofit for the full berth count. The ordinance does not set specific loading hours; it regulates berth size, count, paving, and right-of-way clearance instead.
