Full Breakdown
Sec. 12-75 lets the county public works director impose emergency parking restrictions, including a total parking ban, on county trunk highways, rustic roads, and county-owned roads and lots, covering length-of-stay limits, which side of the street may be used, and other reasonable measures. Snow emergencies are explicitly listed among the qualifying emergency situations, alongside road construction/repair and large public events. The director must post temporary signs 'whenever practical.' A cited driver may stipulate guilt and pay a $25 deposit within five days instead of appearing in court.
Violations & Fines
Same $25 stipulation option within five days of citation (Sec. 12-75(f)); restrictions violated outside that window follow the general Chapter 12 forfeiture and cost provisions.
