Some communities near the MARC train stations (BWI Airport, Odenton) and near Fort Meade have permit parking programs or are impacted by commuter overflow. Waterfront communities (Shady Side, Deale, Galesville) have seasonal parking congestion during boating season. Parking in front of fire hydrants, blocking driveways, or in no-parking zones is prohibited.
