Citrus County, FL Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Article II of Chapter 98 sets the county's on-street parking rules for unincorporated Citrus County. Section 98-33 targets vehicles that obstruct a public road or right-of-way, or that park, stop or stand there without an official sign specifically authorizing it: leaving that obstruction in place for 24 hours after the county sheriff posts a written removal notice on the vehicle creates a legal presumption the owner did it willfully. 0848 while transporting an eligible person, on both public and private property open to the public in the unincorporated county.
