01(A) lists roadway positions where any vehicle in the county may never stop, stand, or park, including the roadway side of an already-parked car, sidewalks, intersections, crosswalks, bridges, railroad tracks, controlled-access highways, and within 30 feet of a safety zone unless signs say otherwise. Division (A)(2) adds a second list of spots where a vehicle may not stand or park even briefly except to pick up or drop off passengers: in front of a public or private driveway, within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection, within 30 feet of an approaching stop, yield, or signal, and within 20 feet of a fire station driveway (75 feet on the opposite side, if posted).

Division (A)(3) bars parking, even for loading, within 50 feet of a railroad crossing or wherever signs prohibit it. Divisions (C) and (D) set the curb rule for legally parked cars: on a two-way street, right-hand wheels must sit parallel to and within 12 inches of the right-hand curb; on a one-way street, wheels must sit within 12 inches of either curb depending on which side the vehicle parks, consistent with the flow of traffic. Division (E) lets local authorities allow angle parking except on federal-aid or state highways unless the Department finds the road wide enough, and division (F) lets the Department post signs restricting parking on highways under its jurisdiction where stopping is dangerous or would interfere with traffic.
