The County does not maintain a stand-alone vacant-lot registry; instead, vacant and occupied parcels alike are subject to Lane Code 9.057 nuisance provisions. LC 9.057.582A makes it a nuisance to store, in excess of 90 days within any 12-month period, an unregistered or inoperable vehicle, or to store two or more such vehicles at once, on private property within city Urban Growth Boundaries or in Community/RR-5/RR-2/RR-1/RA-zoned areas, unless the vehicle is fully enclosed in a building or is not visible from any public way and sits more than 200 feet from any property line. Noxious vegetation, solid-waste accumulation, and derelict structures on vacant lots are also abatable.
Junk vehicles or accumulated waste on a vacant lot are nuisances; 10-day abatement notice, then County abatement with costs plus 25% overhead assessed as a lien.
