37 of the Village Code adopts Illinois' Home Kitchen Operation law, 410 ILCS 625, the Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act, and authorizes a home kitchen operation as a permitted home-based business in Schaumburg, but only if the operator satisfies a list of local conditions. 37(B)(1): anyone running a home kitchen operation must pass ANSI-approved food handler and food allergen training, and must produce documentation of that training to the Village on request. The same subsection layers on sanitation standards: the kitchen must be clean and reasonably safe, the stove, oven and refrigerator must be operable, counters must be smooth and easily cleaned, plumbing fixtures must work safely, and the kitchen sink must be stocked with pump soap and paper towels.

Operators must maintain insect and rodent control and keep household pets out of the kitchen while it is in use. 65(B)(3) before it can open. 37(B)(9) makes the consequence explicit: failing a health inspection, or refusing to allow one, automatically revokes the operation's special use permit, shutting the business down without a separate hearing.
