Full Breakdown
ROH § 21-5.70-3(2)(C)(vi)(dd) requires the guest information binder at every bed and breakfast home or transient vacation unit to include a copy of house rules that must impose quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Units operating under nonconforming use certificates in the country, residential, or apartment zoning districts must also have house rules prohibiting transient occupants from parking on public streets near the unit. Repeated guest noise complaints substantiating a disturbance can factor into the director's decision to deny renewal or revoke the registration.
Violations & Fines
Failing to impose or enforce the required 10 p.m.-7 a.m. quiet hours in house rules violates ROH § 21-5.70-3(2)(C)(vi) and can support registration denial or revocation.
