Under Brevard County Code § 62-1945.2, resort dwellings allowed as a conditional use in qualifying residential zoning classifications must provide at least one designated, available off-street parking space for each bedroom in the unit; occupants cannot park their vehicles on the street. This performance standard must be written into the rental agreement and posted conspicuously inside the unit. It applies only in unincorporated Brevard. Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Satellite Beach, and other Space Coast cities set their own short-term rental rules.
