Santa Cruz County ties vacation rental parking to the size of the home. These rules matter most in coastal neighborhoods like Live Oak and the Seacliff/Aptos/La Selva Beach area, where street parking is scarce.
Allowing guests to park more vehicles than the permitted spaces allow, claiming exclusive street parking, or failing to obtain a required business-rate parking-district permit, all conflict with SCCC 13.10.694. Parking-related disturbances that generate complaints can contribute to the significant-violation record used to support permit revocation.
