Jefferson County, MO Special Events & Permits: Park Event Permits (2026)

080(L) of the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Chapter requires anyone who wants exclusive use of specific park amenities to obtain a facility reservation permit from the Department first. The list of reservable amenities is fixed: pavilions, campsites, the in-line hockey rink, the equine facilities at the Big River Saddle Club, and ball fields at the Northwest Sports Complex (NWSC). General picnic areas, playgrounds and restrooms cannot be reserved; they stay first-come, first-served for anyone in the park. The permit holder must keep the permit on site as proof during the reserved window, and any unauthorized group occupying a reserved space should be reported to the Department or, in extreme cases, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

120 sets rental terms: the Department Director fixes rental fees by November 1 each year, effective the following January 1, and no individual, group or organization may reserve any amenity at the Sports Complex for more than five days in a single week. 130, lighted-field rentals carry a surcharge covering the cost of electricity plus seventy-five percent for maintenance. 140 requires a twenty-five percent deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due five working days before the event; down payments are non-refundable.
