Summary

Under Manatee County Code Sec. 2-16-34, all residential solid waste, recyclables, yard waste, and containers shall be set out in front of the residence adjacent to and within three feet of the curb, and no containers shall be placed in any street, public way, or sidewalk. Each container must be set three feet apart to accommodate collection vehicles. Recycling containers follow the same three-foot-of-curb rule with lids closed (Sec. 2-16-39). Timing: out no earlier than sunset the prior day, no later than 6:00 a.m. on collection day, and removed by sunset that day.
