Arlington offers scheduled bulk item pickup for residents. Large items that don't fit in standard carts can be collected curbside on a scheduled date.
Residents can schedule bulk pickups through the city or waste hauler. Accepted items include furniture, appliances, and mattresses. Electronics and hazardous waste are excluded. Items should be placed at the curb on the scheduled date. Illegal dumping is enforced by Code Compliance and police. Enforcement is handled by Arlington Code Compliance via Ask Arlington 311 or (817) 459-6777. Penalties and escalating fines for repeat offenses are published in the Arlington Code of Ordinances. Contact Community & Neighborhood Services at arlingtontx.gov for current rules.
