Grapevine offers monthly bulk trash and yard waste collection on residents' regular service day under their Republic Services contract. Items such as furniture, appliances, and large yard waste are collected with size and weight limits. Construction debris, hazardous waste, and tires are not eligible for bulk pickup.
Grapevine's solid waste contract with Republic Services includes monthly bulk trash and yard waste collection, scheduled on the resident's regular service day during a specific week of the month. Eligible bulk items include furniture (sofas, mattresses, dressers), appliances with refrigerant properly recovered (tag required on refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners), carpeting (cut into manageable sections), and large yard waste such as tree limbs and brush. Typical limits are up to about 4 cubic yards per pickup, with individual items under 50 to 75 pounds unless special arrangements are made. Tree limbs must be cut to no more than 4 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and bundled or placed in containers. Items must be set out the night before or by 7 a.m. on the collection day, at the curb, and not in the street. Not accepted in bulk pickup: construction and demolition debris, asphalt, concrete, dirt, hazardous waste, paint, motor oil, batteries, tires, and electronics. Residents can take electronics to designated e-waste events or retailers, and hazardous items to the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center. For additional or special pickups beyond the monthly allowance, residents can contact Republic Services directly to arrange fee-based service. Extra fees may apply for large loads. Check the city website or call (817) 410-3330 for your monthly schedule.
