Oklahoma City Utilities provides quarterly bulky waste collection (spring, summer, fall, winter weeks assigned by address) for furniture, mattresses, and large appliances with refrigerants properly removed and tagged. Additional appointment pickups can be scheduled by calling 405-297-2833 for a fee. Items must be curbside by 7 AM on the scheduled day. Excluded items: construction debris (drywall, lumber, concrete, roofing), hazardous materials (paint, pesticides, batteries, motor oil, tires), electronics (e-waste accepted at OKC drop-off at 2601 W Memorial), and yard waste (separate Big Green program). OKC Landfill at 7201 S Bryant (405-297-2833) accepts resident drop-offs with ID. Edmond offers monthly bulk pickup under Β§15-8. Midwest City and Del City have similar programs. Unincorporated Oklahoma County residents use private haulers or take bulk items to the OKC landfill.
