Hillsborough County provides weekly curbside yard-waste collection for residential customers. Yard waste must be in approved containers, paper bags, or bundled, with no individual piece >4 ft long or 50 lbs.
Plastic bags are not accepted. Palm fronds and large limbs must be tied with biodegradable twine. Yard waste is typically composted at the County facility. After major storms, special debris collection schedules are announced separately and may include grappler trucks for vegetative debris.
Non-collection notice; persistent improper setout may be cited.
