Sedona offers a curbside yard waste collection program through the city's Public Works department for residents to recycle green waste.
The program collects grass clippings, leaves, branches, and other plant material from single-family residences. Materials must be placed in city-approved containers or bundles by the published collection schedule. The program supports both wildfire-fuel reduction (clearing dead vegetation around homes) and the city's zero-waste goals. Yard waste is composted rather than landfilled. Hazardous chemicals, treated wood, and non-organic debris are not accepted.
Improperly bundled or contaminated yard waste may be left at the curb with a non-compliance notice.
