Dublin has no breed-specific legislation. Ohio repealed statewide BSL in 2012 (HB 14), and Dublin follows behavior-based dangerous-dog determinations under ORC 955.11.
Since Ohio's 2012 amendment of ORC 955.11, pit bulls are no longer automatically classified as vicious. Dublin uses the state's three-tier system (nuisance, dangerous, vicious) based on individual dog behavior. Owners of dogs designated dangerous or vicious must register, carry liability insurance (minimum 100,000 for vicious), and meet confinement requirements.
