Cobb County Code Β§10-11 requires all animals to be on a leash not exceeding 6 feet in length when off the owner's premises, held by a person capable of restraining the animal. On the owner's premises, animals must be kept indoors, in a proper enclosure, or on a leash held by a capable person. Tethering to a stationary object or pulley run as the primary confinement method is unlawful. Any temporary tether must be at least 10 feet in length to satisfy space and exercise requirements. Invisible fences are not acceptable for vicious, dangerous, or potentially dangerous dogs, or animals in estrus. Dangerous dogs must be muzzled and on a leash β€6 feet when off property.
