Cobb County's noise ordinance and fireworks regulations ban consumer fireworks from 9 PM to 10 AM daily in unincorporated areas. Under Georgia state law (GA Code §25-10-1), adults 18+ may use 1.4G consumer fireworks on designated holidays (July 4, New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day) — but the Cobb County daily ban means fireworks are practically limited to 10 AM–9 PM on those dates. Fireworks are prohibited in all Cobb County parks per Ordinance §90-63 (misdemeanor offense). No ignition from public roadways or rights-of-way. Sky lanterns are banned statewide.
