(16) Animal and/or dog grooming, mobile [(a), (d)], each vehicle 50.00

(17) Animal grooming service, with an established place of business and no vehicles are involved in the service, and no kennel operation is permitted [(a), (d)] 50.00

(18) Animal hospitals, kennels, including hospitals for horses, mules, cows, dogs, and any domestic animal. Not required if a veterinarian with a local business tax receipt uses the hospital in connection with services. The veterinarian must have a state certificate from the state board of veterinarian examiners [(a), (d)] 100.00

(19) Antiques, with merchandise of intrinsic value, not to be confused with secondhand merchandise. When new merchandise is also carried, a retail merchant's local business tax receipt is required (see Merchants, retail) [(a)].

(20) Apartment houses, for each apartment rented or offered for rent, and the term "apartment" means any building or group of buildings where separate living accommodations for more than two families, living independently of each other, are supplied to guests or tenants. Apartments occupied by the owner of an apartment, as a permanent year round resident, are not counted in fixing the local business tax
