The table's special-regulations column requires that outside runs or other outside facilities for animals are not permitted for this use, and that buildings be constructed so noise from the clinic is not audible on residentially zoned lots. The separate row for "veterinary clinic or commercial kennels, large animal or commercial kennels" is not permitted in any residential or standard mixed-use zone; it is permitted in the LI-MU zone (footnoted as prohibited within mixed-use centers specifically), permitted outright in the LI light-industrial zone, and allowed only as an accessory use in the AG agricultural zone.

For that use the code requires that buildings and outside runs be placed and constructed so that noise is not audible on residentially zoned lots. 080 separately defines "veterinary clinic" as a facility rendering surgical and medical treatment to animals that may include overnight recovery accommodations, and defines small animals as ordinary household pets, expressly excluding horses, donkeys or other animals not normally kept entirely within a residence.
