Full Breakdown
All clinic activity besides exercise yards must happen inside an enclosed building. A fully enclosed, four-solid-wall building stays back at least 50 feet from adjacent residentially zoned property; a building that isn't fully enclosed must be set back 150 feet. Outdoor exercise areas need 100 feet from any adjacent dwelling and 75 feet from residentially zoned property, or 200/150 feet if the area doesn't meet Article 7 standards.
Violations & Fines
Siting a clinic building or exercise/confinement yard closer to residential property than these setbacks allow is a Land Development Code violation, enforced through the county's zoning and code enforcement process.
