03(I) of the Mount Pleasant Code makes it unlawful to feed birds, specifically naming seagulls and pigeons 'and the like', at any town-owned park. 01, under the town's police powers to protect safety and well-being given heavy tourist and local use of Memorial Waterfront Park, Shem Creek Park and other town parks. 03(H), which requires all animals in town-owned parks to be kept on a leash, so both wildlife and pet-related conduct in the parks are addressed together in one ordinance.
