Dispensary Zoning

Beyond the general school buffer, Jersey City requires Class 5 cannabis retail dispensary applicants to submit a list of every other Class 5 retailer within 600 feet of their entry door and a list of all schools within 1,000 feet under the citywide Drug-Free School Zone map, letting the Cannabis Control Board weigh retailer clustering and drug-free-zone overlap before recommending local support.
