A parent or guardian who allows a child under 15 to violate the section, as rider or passenger, is separately liable under subsection (c).

Red-Light Cameras

Pearland cannot run red-light cameras. Texas Transportation Code Section 707.020, enacted by House Bill 1631 in 2019, bars every local authority from operating a photographic traffic signal enforcement system on any street it controls.
