Bike Lane Rules

Traffic Code § 15-285 requires a cyclist riding on a Syracuse street to stay as near the right-hand side of the roadway as practicable and forbids riding more than two abreast except on a path set aside exclusively for bicycles. Wherever the city has built a usable bike path next to the roadway, cyclists must use it instead of the street.
