Rancho Cordova's Trash & Recycling: The Rules That Matter

Commercial loading docks, dumpsters and refuse storage in Rancho Cordova must be screened from public streets, rights-of-way and residentially zoned property, with the screening designed to match the rest of the site's architecture. RCMC § 23.731.080(A)(5) requires every dumpster be kept locked when not in use, and only allows an exception to the screening requirement through design review for genuinely constrained sites.
