Westchester County's housing code requires existing lead-poisoning paint conditions in dwellings to be eliminated under the state Public Health Law's lead-poisoning prevention procedures.
Lead based and other toxic paints and materials shall not be used on any interior surface or any surface readily accessible to children. ...
