Generally, Chapter 1, Fees, of the State Building Code shall be complied with. Except as set forth in subsections (F), (G), (H), (I) and (J) of this section relating to pending school building projects, building permit fees as set forth in subsections (A), (B), and (C) of this section shall be applicable to all permits issued by the building department. Fees shall not apply to permits issued for municipal work performed by municipal employees as defined in Connecticut General Statutes Section 16-1(a)(26), as the same may be amended from time to time.1.Where the value of work does not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) a fee of forty dollars ($40.00); where the value of work exceeds five hundred dollars ($500.00) but does not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) a fee of sixty dollars ($60.00); plus an additional thirty dollars ($30.00) for each one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or fraction thereof in excess of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).2.Fee Schedule.
