Violations & Fines
Violating Article II is punishable by a fine of up to $1,000.00, imprisonment for up to 60 days, or both, with each day of continued violation a separate offense (Sec. 10-37(d)). The building inspector can also suspend a license for 180 days, or revoke it for a year, subject to appeal to the Board of Commissioners within ten days of the decision.
