Alaska does not allow direct-to-consumer marijuana delivery. Cannabis purchases in Anchorage must be made in person at a Marijuana Control Board licensed retail store with photo ID showing the buyer is 21 or older.
Unlike California or Oregon, the Alaska Marijuana Control Board has not authorized commercial delivery to consumers. The only legal cannabis movement off-premises is between licensed entities (cultivator to manufacturer to retail) by approved transporters under 3 AAC 306. Anchorage retailers cannot offer curbside pickup outside the licensed premises and cannot ship via mail or common carrier. Adult sharing of up to one ounce without remuneration is allowed under AS 17.38.020, but anything resembling commercial sale, including delivery for tip or fee, is prohibited and prosecutable. Out-of-state mail-order cannabis is also a federal crime.
Unlicensed delivery or curbside sale can trigger MCB license revocation, AMC Title 21 zoning citation, and state criminal charges under AS 17.30 for unlicensed marijuana sale.
