Table 17.20.020 lists "Marijuana, retail sales" as permitted outright (P) in the C-I, C-II, C-II(H) and C-III commercial zones, subject only to the standards in the Chapter 17.08 PTMC use definition. In the C-I/MU and C-II/MU mixed-use centers, retail sales instead require a conditional use permit. Marijuana production and processing are more limited: Table 17.20.020 allows processing and production only as a conditional use in C-II (prohibited in C-I, C-II(H) and C-III), while Table 17.22.020 permits production/processing outright in the M/C and part of the marine-industrial M-II zones but bars it in M-I and M-III.
