Anyone selling goods door to door, from a cart, or otherwise as an itinerant retailer in the City of Canton, Ohio needs a City License Bureau permit under Chapter 749 before starting. Outside the downtown Special Improvement District, the annual fee is $250 per retailer, and the permit expires exactly one year from issue.
