Boat Dock Permits
In the Town of Fairfield, no vessel may be moored, anchored or docked in the Harbor Management Area without a current, valid permit from the Harbormaster, and that includes mooring floats, defined as unattached floating docks up to 100 square feet. The Harbor Management Commission sets permit and maintenance fees, and unpermitted mooring is a citable violation under Chapter 24, the Harbor Management Ordinance.
