Franklin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania regulates holiday yard displays through its sign code rather than a stand-alone lawn-ornament rule. Special holiday decorations may go up six weeks before a holiday and must come down two weeks after, under Township Code Section 27-2015.5. Once a display carries advertising or a business logo, it stops being a decoration in the Zoning Officer's eyes and becomes a sign subject to the full Chapter 27, Part 20 sign standards.
